Last Minute Checklist for Groove Cruise Miami 2016

Groove Cruise Miami 2016 Official Pictures 5

With just over 2 weeks to go until the GCFAM sets off on a brand new adventure to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, I’ve got some last minute items for you to review to make sure you’re prepared for the weekend of your life.

This isn’t meant to be an exhaustive list, and as long as you have what’s necessary to make it onto the ship, I promise you’ll one unforgettable weekend.

Is your cabin booked?

This is pretty essential. If you haven’t booked your cabin yet, you have just days left and a limited selection of cabins. Not booked yet? Check out the official pricing page for the most up to date availability and to buy your tickets. My discount code, GrooveCruiseChris (How do I use this code?), will get you $50 off per person keeping more money in your pocket.

Do you have the proper documents to board the ship?

This year’s GCMIA will be taking place aboard the Norwegian Pearl. Check out Norwegian Cruise Line’s official site to learn more about exactly what types of documents you can use to board the ship.

Make sure to check your email for your Online Check-in info

Your tickets don’t arrive in the mail like other major festivals. For Groove Cruise, you will receive an “Online Check-In” email from the cruise line (in this case, Norwegian). This email will contain a link to their Online Check-In process. It’s similar to checking in for a flight, and when you finish, you can print your boarding pass. BRING YOUR BOARDING PASS WITH YOU TO THE PORT.

Are your costumes or props ready?

The official themes for Groove Cruise Miami were announced a while ago, so you’ve had a long time to put together the perfect outfits and costumes. If you haven’t finished deciding on your onboard attire, be sure to check out the themes and get your costumes and props ready (obviously, this is optional, but it’s a ton of fun).

Have you picked your must-see artists?

The massive lineup for Groove Cruise Miami has been fully released and by now, you should have your must-see artists picked out. Remember, Groove Cruise’s programming runs 24 hours a day around the clock, so you’re going to want to keep an eye out for the official set times to plan your sleep rest accordingly.

Final Words

I’ll do what I can to prepare you, but let’s be honest, you’ll never be fully prepared for what’s about to happen…no matter how times you’ve been on Groove Cruise. It’s an incredibly unique experience each time, every time.

Just make sure you have everything you need to make it on the ship. Everything takes care of itself from there.

Just 11 more days!
