Unlike regular festivals where there’s three, maybe four, categories of tickets, Groove Cruise takes places on a massive chartered cruise ship. This means the GCFAM has the entire spectrum of cabin types available from affordable interiors to luxurious suites sometimes with private butlers.
Put simply, booking as soon as you can ensures that you’re shopping the broadest range of cabin types at the lowest available prices.

Share a Cabin to Save on Groove Cruise Costs
One of the best ways to cut down on your per-person expenses is to share a cabin. Most Groove Cruise cabins can accommodate multiple guests, which means you can split the costs with friends or fellow cruisers.
Prices are based on an assumed “double occupancy” (two people), but there are cabin types that support four (4) or even more guests.
When you book a cabin with more people, the cost per person goes down. So, if you know you’re going with a group and want to save money, try to pick a cabin that can accommodate more people.
Savings = Up to hundreds of dollars per person depending on which cabin types and occupancy you’re comparing
Payment Plans
Each event typically has payment plans available. I’ve seen the typical pay $x now and pay $y each month over time. I’ve also seen plans where you pay 50% now and 50% later. When booking, you’ll see your options for paying over time. The earlier you book, the greater likelihood that these are offered as they don’t really make sense once the event gets really close.
From what I’ve seen, these payment plans don’t typically have any fees, so you’re basically locking in the best prices by using my tips above, then you can spread out the payments over time using these plans, if available.
