The Groove Cruise Miami 2018 details have been revealed. With pre-sales sold out and the on sale starting in just days, keep reading to get caught up on what GCMIA 2018 has in store.

Here’s the short version:

Dates – January 26-29, 2018

Taking place during the last weekend in January next year, this is the perfect way to start your year and the 2018 festival season off right.

The 3-day itinerary allows you to take minimal time off work (if you have a typical 9 to 5) since two of those days are Saturday and Sunday. In fact, if you live in Miami and really don’t want to take PTO, you can get off the ship and head straight to work Monday morning. Difficult? I’m sure it is. Impossible? Absolutely not – I saw it happen on my first Groove Cruise. I was thoroughly impressed by the commitment to work and play.

Destinations – CocoCay AND Nassau, Bahamas

For 2018, the GCFAM will be treated to two exotic Caribbean destinations. CocoCay, the Royal Caribbean owned private island, and Nassau, the capital and largest city in the Bahamas.

The onshore events for these destinations have yet to be announced, but I’ll share them as soon as those details are released.

I’ll also be following up with a post sharing my knowledge on these two destinations and why I think this is going to be a pretty incredible experience.

New Ship – Royal Caribbean Enchantment of the Seas

This will be the third ship in 3 years that Groove Cruise Miami has transformed into a floating festival. There was the tried-and-true Norwegian Pearl, this year’s Carnival Victory, and now for 2018, the Royal Caribbean Enchantment of the Seas.

I’ll be going in depth in a follow up post as to what this ship has to offer…before Groove Cruise even gets their hands on it. But if you can’t wait, check out the details here: http://www.royalcaribbean.com/vanity/enchantment

Get Ready to Book Your Cabin

Groove Cruise Miami 2018 officially goes on sale to the public on Friday, March 31, 2017, at 2PM ET.

Mark your calendars, tell Siri to remind you, and, if you get paid on that Friday, just go ahead and allocate that check to a cabin on GCMIA 2018.

Prices will go up monthly leading up to the event, so this will be the best time to book. Of course, use my discount code GrooveCruiseChris (How do I use this code?) to save an easy and instant $50/person.

I’m sure there will be other stackable discounts, too, like Female Foursome savings and Military Discounts. I’ll cover those once they’re announced.

Groove Cruise Absolutely Took Over Miami Music Week

Ultra Music Festival Miami gets most of the coverage during Miami’s annual weeklong electronic music takeover, and it should because it’s the flagship event of an incredibly popular international festival brand.

However, part of the beauty of Miami Music Week is that you can curate your own club adventure and attend some very intimate shows featuring lineups concentrated in specific genres at some of the most exclusive nightlife venues in South Florida.

Groove Cruise hosted not only an official GCFAM reunion party this week, but also multiple other events at various venues across the city. The Groove Cruise culture’s reach extends off the ship and this MMW takeover reinforces that notion. Check out the event flyers below (in no particular order) to get a glimpse of what went down this week.
