How to Get In On a Groove Cruise Pre-sale (with Screenshots)
This article shows you step-by-step how to participate in Groove Cruise pre-sales and reserve your spot aboard the ship. It is important to note that pre-sales are not cabin bookings. Getting in on the pre-sale essentially guarantees you a spot in line to book a cabin once they become available. I’ve also included screenshots to help you along the reservation process. You can check out the individual GCMIA and GCLA sections of my site for details on the exact pre-sale dates for your desired event.

To get started, you will need to access the reservation system. This can be done by clicking the pre-sale link(s) found on TheGrooveCruise.com or provided in my VIP list emails. The Groove Cruise is operated by Whet Travel and the reservation system will be branded as such.
The first thing you will need to do is login. If you don’t have an account yet, there is a link on this page that allows you to register. When registering for a new account, make sure you use your LEGAL name as it appears on your citizenship documents (i.e. passport, etc.).
After logging in, you’ll be taken to the first page of the pre-sale reservation process for your selected event. Make sure you’ve chosen the correct event (i.e. Miami, LA, etc.). Read through the brief notes on the event, then click the “Make a Pre-sale Deposit” button.
On the next page, you should have one option to make a $200 pre-sale deposit. Click the “Select” button.
This page will auto-populate some information based on your account and mention that this pre-sale is for one guest. Of course, you plan on booking a cabin for more than one guest, but this is handled at the time of cabin booking. For now, the pre-sale is based on one guest, then you can add your roomie(s) later when cabin booking opens. Click the “Checkout” button.
You will be asked to verify your LEGAL name and email address. It is important that this information is the same as it is on your citizenship documents (i.e. passport, etc.). Click “Continue” after you’ve verified this.
This page gives you your payment options. For pre-sales, you only have the option to pay the $200 deposit in full. Click “Continue”.
You will be asked to verify some personal information. This will be auto-populated using the information you used to register for an account. When you’re done, continue on to the next page.
This is the Terms and Conditions page reminding you that this deposit is refundable under certain circumstances as well other information about your cruise. “Check” the box stating that you agree, then click “Continue”.
Here, you can enter in your payment information. If you’ve used this reservation system before, your card information will be stored. If not, you can enter in new card information. When you go to actually book your cabin, you can choose to use a different card than what you use for pre-sales if you’d like. Fill in your payment info and click the “Submit Payment” button at the bottom of the page.
You’ve just completed the pre-sale process and reserved your spot in line to book a cabin aboard Groove Cruise! You’re not done yet, though. Keep an eye on your email inbox, because you will be emailed the date that you will be able to actually choose and book your cabin. You want to stay on top of this to give yourself the best chance of getting your cabin of your choice. Your pre-sale deposit will go towards your total cabin price during this process.
It is when you go to actually book your cabin that you can use my discount code, GrooveCruiseChris, to save $50 per person! (How do I use this code?)
