Tampa traffic is notorious for being bad on just an average day. When big events come to the area, like SMF Tampa 2016, you can expect there to be delays and congestion.

Luckily, Uber has a strong network of drivers in the Tampa, FL, area and can make your journey to and from Sunset Music Festival much easier. Using the app on your smartphone, you can request an Uber, pay, and rate your driver without ever having to pull out cash or any other payment method.

How Uber Works

  • Download and open the app on your phone to see drivers around you.
  • Establish your pick-up location and a driver will make their way towards you.
  • While you’re waiting, input your destination (i.e. Raymond James Stadium).
  • When the car arrives, verify the make/model and license plate number and get in.
  • After you arrive at your destination (which you can change – just tell them them “oh wait, can you drop me/us off over there…”), simply get out.
  • The fare for your ride is handled entirely through the app, and you’ll have the opportunity to rate your driver.
